Viva Las Vegas

A few students Manhattan Center have taken to running a high stakes crap game in the stairwells at Manhattan Center. The games have become so big that a number of fights have taken place after school over gambling debts.

Principal David (El Jefe) Jimenez and Assistant Principal of Security Daniel (Fredo) Albetta both know of the Craps games and the issues that have occurred afterwards. Both have chosen to stand by their hands off approach to education. Security on a number of occasions have broken up these games, but the administration has not doled out any discipline to the leaders of them illegal crap games.

New York State Penal Law Article 225 highlights Gambling Offense for example S225.10 A person is guilty of promoting gambling in the first degree when he knowingly advances or profits from unlawful gambling. This is a class E felony.
Maybe Security should just call in the NYPD!
